A blog featuring the game related ramblings and ideas of a role-playing gamer since 1980. My interests include many games and gaming related topics, but my main focus will be on Open Ended Original Edition Old School Fantasy Adventure Sandbox Role Playing Games (OEOEFASRPG™) The Open-Ended Sandbox Exploration of Dungeons, Wilderness and Cities. Occasionally, other topics outside of gaming will be discussed here as well.

Turning Off Word Verification
I had no idea that blogger turned on my word verification. For those interested in turning theirs off, you can read about it here. I am not in a position where I get spam or need someone's comments moderated so I turned mine off.
This seems to happen to me any time blogger runs an update or works on their site - very irritating. New follower here. I'm trying to get a head start on visiting my fellow "A to Z"ers. I look forward to visiting again.
Thanks for following. Yes, I know the irritation of being surprised with the update to find new "features" are active...lol. I am going to check out your blog now.
Nice tip, Charlie - thanks a lot for it.
ReplyDeleteHey! Thank for mentioning me! I think this is something everyone need to hear :)
ReplyDelete@Eric Baker: You bet! It was a little irritating to find out that it was on my blog when I did not activate. I thought others might like to know.
ReplyDelete@J.A. Bennett: You're welcome! I agree that everyone needs to hear this and decide if they want to use word verification or not.
I have wondered, but you know what, I find some of the words it creates actually make for great character names :)
ReplyDelete@Mark: There is a silver lining just about everywhere! I do agree about some of the words being good names.
ReplyDeleteCharlie - I've taken the liberty of awarding you a Versatile Blogger award (too many awards in that sentence).

@Amanda: Thanks! Now I move on to fulfill my committment.
