I had to post this trailer up after running across it this morning. I was a big fan of the original Terminator movie and the sequel.  The third one was fun even if it was flawed.  I go back and forth on my impression of the fourth film.  I watched the TV series as often as I could.  This new installment of the film series looks very interesting to me.   

    

[Trailer] The Rangers: A Shadow Rising

I was browsing the 2015 trailers on YouTube and come across a low-budget film called The Rangers: A Shadow Rising.  The film is the end result of a successful kicstarter campaign by Ron Newcomb.  It looks reasonably well done for a little under $60,000 and I would wager it is probably better than some of the big budget Hollywood crap that they pump out.  It looks way better than any of the three D&D movies for whatever that is worth.  Maybe some of the people reading this will be interested...

CURSE OF THE DRAGON SLAYER Trailer

I stumbled upon this low-budget fantasy movie on Netflix about a week ago.  It reminds me of the fantasy films from the 1980s and it's still better than any of the D&D movies.  I know I have seen it mentioned in my G+ feed a time or two but I have yet to see the trailer shared so I decided to share it.

Friday Night Movie Prediction...

I have seen the books at Wal-Mart for months but never picked them up.  My wife started reading them this last weekend; already 20 pages away from finishing the second book.  I started reading the first book and I predict that I will be seeing this movie Friday.

Red Dawn Trailer 2012 Movie HD Trailer

This film has been rumored for quite some time.  I saw a fan made trailer or two a while back that looked pretty decent but then I stumbled onto a real trailer.  I grew up watching Red Dawn in the 1980's with my buddies during the last remaining years of the Cold War.  It was an awesome speculative fiction film.  I still watch it when I happen to catch in on cable these days.  It is my understanding that the original has fallen out of favor with some due to alleged "right wing extemism" and that is too bad.  How about let's worry about a movie/book/etc. telling a good story, holding our attention, and entertaining us?  Isn't that what is important anyway? 

Marvel Avengers Assemble (2012)

Yeah, I know that many other people have probably posted about this already but I just wanted to give a "HELL YES" to upcoming Avengers movie.  I was concerned with how well this would be pulled off but it looks like everything is in good hands.  I can not wait until opening day...

RESIDENT EVIL 5 Retribution Trailer

Oh Hell YES!  Consider me one happy Resident Evil fan.  I had heard that it was in development, but now it looks like the fifth Resident Evil movie, Retribution, will be released this year.  I have seen all of the others and, in fact, own all of them on DVD.  Usually, I would voice my opinion that the source material - in whatever format - is typically much better than any adaptations.  I find Resident Evil to hold a unique spot on my list of favorites because I have enjoyed every form of the franchise that I have been exposed to.  Of course, I began with the first game back on the PlayStation and thought it was amazing.  Over the years, the games would continue.  I went into the first movie wit great skepticism because I thought it would probably be just another wretched attempt at a money grab riding a wave of popularity for quick cash.  I liked it and have liked all of the movies so far.  Finally, I borrowed several of the novels from my cousin and read them.  I enjoyed them so much that I bought the missing books in his collection.  Yeah, I am a Resident Evil junkie and I can not wait to see this installment of the movie franchise.    

John Carter Trailer

I was pretty excited about a John Carter movie when I initially heard about the upcoming feature.  Then I was pretty disappointed to heard that it would be a Disney production.  Then I happened to see this trailer recently and I am ready to see this NOW!
