US seems to divide horror fans into the "great" and "meh" camps. I personally thought it was a great film. It was not another mindless slasher and the story was unique. US is an interesting twist on literally facing your inner demons and also touches of broader societal issues. I have not seen US in some time and I regret now owning it; I will remedy soon. Simply put, US is an engaging film that not only asks who the enemy is but it also answers it.
I've been meaning to rewatch Us. I really enjoyed the first half, was pretty excited to see where Jordan Peele was going to take the slasher genre, and then... It be fair it went no where I expected, which is impressive. I think I'll gain some appreciation for it on rewatch.
